We Fight For Your Rights

In every way that matters.
Haringey is a vibrant community in North London. We don’t want any individual to be overlooked, which is why we decided to take action and establish DAH. With Trustees who have both personal and professional experience of disability, we are well-placed to provide support that can enable our community to be more independent.

We want to work towards creating a community where every individual feels included, with access to the services they need to live fully and independently.

We offer the following services:

Social Care Services & Peer Support
Direct Payments are given to you by the Council, allowing you to choose who provides your care and how. We are able to support you getting Direct Payments and managing your care.

Support Group Services
We have a range of support groups that aim to provide disabled individuals and their families with fun and social activities as well as mental and emotional support. The goal of these groups is to make sure that every participant feels heard and valued.

Direct Payment Peer-To-Peer Support and Training Programme
With Direct Payments, disabled residents can choose the social care services they want. The peer-to-peer support programme enables those considering this option to ask questions, receive support from those already receiving Direct Payments and facilitates discussion around the scheme. This programme can also help those already receiving Direct Payments but who need further support with gaining insight from their peers.
